This is the real deal! At genuine down home Saloon with food and beverages for grownups to party. If you're in Minturn you definitely do not want to miss this, or even just in the Vail Beaver Creek area! I highly recommend it....it's been there for many years, it's definitely something to be experienced.

We arrived at 4 pm. Right with the rush from the mtn. We sat at the bar, the bartender was great. Ended up having 3 margaritas and 2 beers, w tip it was less than $50, bargain. The bar was busy and cozy. Definitely worth the drive.

The authenticated photographs & memorabilia are awesome! Definitely a must for tourists... and locals. Very cool place.

Great food, and even better service! My family and I were lucky enough to stumble upon this gem! Loved the memorabilia and authentic ambiance. You must try the pepper jelly!!

One of my favorite restaurants in the valley. Known mostly for their Mexican and great game meats, I particularly love their ribs. Highly recommend them. They are slow cooked for hours. If I’m not in the mood for that, the chicken enchiladas always hit the spot. Margaritas are also legendary!!

Went with a group of out of town friends. Was fantastic as always. Never a bad time.

Food is marginal at best. Tries to be Mexican with a mountain twist but fails and is very expensive.

Best quail I ever had

We visit Minturn Saloon annually for a relaxing time on their patio after browsing this sweet little towns stores. Service was good but the beverage weak maybe because we used our Passport 2 for 1 discount?

From the owners to the employees, this place rocks! The staff givesyou the feeling of the Cheers sitcom. If they don’t Know your name when you’re walking in they will know it when you’re walking out! Try the margaritas, they are awesome. I’ve had almost everything on the menu since living in Minturn for20 years and I can’t say there is anything I haven’t liked. In the winter, the open fireplace rages so get a good seat in front of it. In the summer I would recommend their patio. I hardly ever eat in their dining room but many a good party has been had there. Definitely a place to go if you are traveling through no matter the season!

Quintessential Colorado!

I know a lot of positive reviews on the Tavern but we had a terrible experience. We were there for a ski week at BC and came to the Tavern for dinner. We were a party of 6 and two of our party became ill from the food. I think it’s a fine place to grab some beers apres ski and some chips and Quac. But other than that the menu and the food is poor. The price/value equation based upon the quality of the food does not justify it for us. I agree with the great service though. Our waiter was a joy to deal with. Too bad she didn’t cook the meals for us. Maybe our friends would not have become ill on our expensive vacation. I see from other reviews that others have become ill there. Maybe a theme folks????

We took 20 kids from our high school mountain bike to this place recently and had a blast! Everyone had more fun than you should be allowed at a dinner thanks to the awesome energy of our waitress Dani. Everyone loved the food also. We'll be back....

Excellent service, very good food, very comfortable

Amazing outdoor space during the summertime, as it is right next to the Eagle River. The inside is massive which I’m assuming they do shows? They have to! Anyways, their drink selection is pretty broad but they make sure to advertise local Colorado whiskey, which I always go for the 10th Mountain Whiskey . During the winter this place is a wild good time only being a few miles from Vail and I believe you can ski down to it if you are feeling adventurous. 11/10 would live at this place if I could.

Excellent place ti eat and cool bar. The place has been here for many many years. I always stop here to eat if i an in the area.

Fun historic feel, pricey but so is most things in the area. Wonderful choices, predominantly Hispanic menu but known for quail, duck and ribs.

Great history to the building and town. Such a cool vibe when you walk in and the history lesson on the menu. Food was okay, got the basic chicken tenders but the jalapeño jelly was quite interesting.

Really cool little place with tasty cocktails and no joke the best chips and salsa I've ever had - and I've had a lot of salsa - for free!!

Plates are huge, ribs were good not great, to much bbq sauce. Definitely split plates. Server was good, neat pictures.

I love this place so much! Such a fun spot with great service (shout out to Dana!!!) And the food is always killer. Quail and enchilada are what I live for and the margaritas are awesome

Great ambiance, Riverside tables...best Margaritas ever and the food was excellent. If you are lucky you may get Christy for your server. She has a wonderful personality and even created some of the menu items.

The food is ok, service was great, but extremely overpriced.
